You won't get what you want.

 It's been a while. G'morning.

I believe we should never stop doing things. By things, I mean things that we love. Every human being is distinct, not in flesh(not really. It's all same under the skin), but in their perception and thoughts. This factor grants each of us an advantage, which is, we can create. We can create distinct things that represent our thoughts, our perception. Most of us call it 'Art'. Art is special because it's not tangible, but unique in nature. 

I remember an analogy someone gave(Probably Neil Degrasse Tyson, it was profound.). This analogy succeeds in conveying the sheer uniqueness of 'Art'. Had Einstein not given the theory of relativity, someone else at some point of time would've eventually discovered it. On the other hand, had Van Gogh never been born, no human in any point of time would've painted starry nights. No one.

The theory of relativity has always been there. From the beginning of it all till the end, it shall prevail. Einstein just happened to be the first one(Lucky enough, or should I say smart enough?) to notice it. But 'Starry nights'? It resided in the domain of Van Gogh's imagination. Something no one else could have, or will have access to.

In other words, the way you perceive the world is unique. Your thoughts are unique. Every poem that you write, every melody that you hum, is special. And unique. You might get influenced(or inspired), but it is unique, undeniably.

So we should never stop doing things. We should never stop creating. There's a creator in each one of us(Funny how it all boils down to "अहं ब्रह्मास्मि", right? Not today. Not in the mood.)
